Founders Hall

Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA

Founders Hall honors Founder’s Society members with plaques listing the inductees, detailing their biographies and explaining the origins of the new donor society. This space is adjacent to Memorial Hall in Old West, a building designed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe in 1803. The design challenge was to conceptualize an elegant way to incorporate both photos and personal stories into individual plaques and also design a free standing plaque listing donor names. The design also includes the remodel of the hall space: furniture, new wood flooring, paint and lighting.
